The mission of the Peter Foley Music Project is to further the artistic legacy of composer/lyricist Peter Foley (1967-2021) through promoting and supporting performance, recording, and publication of his works.
- The Peter Foley Music Project is a certified 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
- As an Administrative Assistant for this organization, I have:
- Created an accurate timeline of the work of the late composer Peter Foley
- Created a digital archive from physical music scores, casette tapes, press articles, awards, and production programs
- Assist in running the organization’s social media accounts
- Sat in on and participated in Board Meetings
RESEARCH
SKIDMORE COLLEGE, SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY, SPRING 2023
- 15 page independent undergraduate research paper and oral presentation in Dance History
- Examines ballet history from the French Royal Courts to more recent contemporary experiences from a feminist lens
- Explores how the feminine ballet body has been constructed by the patriarchal nature of European-American society and reveals that the seemingly female-centric art form of ballet denies the female dancer agency and autonomy over her own body and career
UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI, CORAL GABLES, FL, FALL 2021 – SPRING 2022
- Served as un Undergraduate Research Assistant for a PhD candidate in Exercise Physiology
- Performed data extraction and post-study testing, including body composition analysis, pulse-weight velocity, and aerobic fitness tests
